    FIELD VISIT@ THENAMALA        Our college has organised a Field Trip to Thenmala Ecotourism as part of the BEd curriculum on 25 Feb 2022. Field Trips are essential to deepen social and historical knowledge, to develop critical thinking skills and to supplement classroom instructions. Thenmala is a tourist destination in the eastern side of Kollam district in Kerala, India.  We met at the MT theatre at 7:30 am. There were 2 buses for the 1st years and the 2nd years. We set out for the journey at 7:45 am. We went for the trip with four teachers, two non-teaching staffs and 106 teacher trainees. The 1st years and the 2nd years were divided as 2 groups. The 1st years went to visit the Thenmala Adventure zone and the 2nd years went for the boating at Shendurney Wildlife Sanctuary with each group consisting of 1 teachers and a non- teaching staff.  It was a very nice experience for us.     OATH - TAKING CEREMONY  The oath-taking ceremony of the new union members was conducted on 23 February 2022. It was a wonderful ceremony which motivated each teacher trainee to give their best contribution for the entire academic year. Each member had taken their oath and took charge of their respective post. The oath was orated to them by our Principal, Dr Salini S.  K TET orientation class    K TET orientation session was conducted on 17 February 2022. It helps the students Crack the ktet very easily. Mrs Renjitha  Raju  was the chief guest.  She develop a deep knowledge on these examination. Which areas should need more concentration. Different types of examinations etc..

 ASSEMBLY CONDUCTED BY NATURAL SCIENCE   The natural science department conducted college assembly on 16 February 2022. Our assembly was well organized and all the students  actively done their duties. The whole assembly was hosted by Mr.kavya . The assembly was started by the prayer by kavya.     VALENTINES DAY❤    As a part of the valentines day our college conducted  a competition for poem related to love named " Vasumathikkoru pranya lekhanam ". And conducted a debate based on love marriage and arranged marriage. All the students are actively participated in that competition. It is very interesting. 

NATIONAL WOMENS  DAY 👩        As a part of womens day our mathematics class of sngk B.ed college conducted a intercollegiate video making competition based on the theme "MOST PROMINENT AND INFLUENCED WOMEN IN INDIA". These competition was only for B.Ed students. It created more awareness about our prominent and influential women in India. This day evoke the sense that how women become the part of building our nation.  The convenor of the program was miss. parbitha  Assistant Professor of mathematics and program coordinator  were Vidhya and Rani. The winners got e certificate.

COMMUNICATIVE SKILL WEBINAR         English department  conduct a webinar on the topic ' Effective communication strategy for modern classroom' on 9th February 2022 from  4.00 pm to 6.00 pm through Google meet.  First year B.Ed students got the golden chance to conduct such a webinar. The program  was hosted by keerthana. The section was started with a prayer by miss Gopika. The program starts at 4.00 pm and welcome speech conducted by miss anju and miss devika.     Our honorable guest was Dr. Asha A K, Assistant Professor, Aishabai College of Education, SNDT Women's University, Mumbai. She is also a communicative English Trainer and a Life Skill Trainer. She also worked as a news reader in the Surya T V and as a prominent anchor in the Dooradarshan and Surya T V. WORLD WETLAND DAY                        As part of the WORLD WETLAND DAY  our Natural science department conduct a intercollegiate quiz competition  on 2 February 2022. The quiz is time bounded from 4.00 pm to 4.30 pm .As part of that many colleges participated in the quiz competition.  The theme of wet land day in 2022 was wetlands actions for the people and nature showing the actions required to ensure the conservation and sustenance of wetlands '. The convenor of the program was Mrs. Aswathy L , Assistant Professor, Natural Science and the student co-ordinators were Mrs Kavya Vijayan and Mr HariPrasad R.  Our General convenor was Principal of SNGK Mrs. Salini madam.
